Carla Blair is a hairdresser and cosmetologist who has been in the beauty industry for over thirty years, during which time she owned four salons. Fourteen years ago, she opened her first salon (called "Crossers") for the transgendered community, and quickly came to love the crossdressers and transsexuals who came to her.
Carla cherishes the woman in all of us.

The transgender community has bestowed many awards on Carla for her help and service to us. Her honors include TransGender San Francisco's
Joanna Caron Memorial Award for Excellence,
and the Rainbow Gender Association's
Community Service Award.
Carla ia also a recipient of California Dreamin's
Joan Goodnight Award.

Carla was also one of the first recipients of Transgender Silicon Valley's Angel Award and Queen Mother 16 of the Royal Lion Monarchy of San Jose Ca.

Carla was born in Arizona, and was raised in the Bay Area.She enjoys boating and golf. Her goal in life is to be happy. Carla has a beautiful daughter, Jamie, who lives in Washington state.
