Who is Carla? Carla Blair retired in September 2010. Her career as hairdresser and cosmetologist in the beauty industry spanned over thirty years, during which time she owned four salons. Sixteen years ago, she opened her first salon (called "Crossers") for the transgendered community, and quickly came to love the crossdressers and transsexuals who came to her. Carla's was created to cherish the woman in all of us.
Who Owns Carla's now?
Aejaie Sellers-Franciscus is an active member of the Transgender Community. She transitioned in 1982 with the support of her family. Her professional background has encompassed everything from the beauty industry to the world of nonprofit management. She is an accomplished speaker on human sexuality and transgenderism. She has appeared on MSNBC with Tucker Carlson, as well as the Montel Williams Show. She is trained in stage and theatrical makeup. Aejaie is happy married to her husband Tony. Tony is strong supporter of the Trangender Community, as well.
